The Court : The writ petition is taken up for hearing. Both the parties are represented. It is submitted by Mr. Kar appearing on behalf of the petitioner that pursuant to an order dated 9th January, 2020 the parties have entered into an amicable settlement, which is recorded in a minutes of the joint meeting held on 24th February, 2020. Let the copy of the minutes be kept with the records. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing survives in the writ petition. WP 1710 of 2004 is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
