This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on December 24, 2024.

It is contended by the parties that the matter is at the stage of argument and considerable progress has been made. Considering the pleadings and the stage of the proceedings, this Court deems it fit and proper to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator for a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

The learned Arbitrator shall make and publish his award within the aforementioned period.

The application is disposed of.
