For petitioner The Court:- This is an application for extension of time to file inventory and accounts by an administrator.

The Letters of Administration was granted by order dated 5th April, 2023 and the grant was issued on 21st December, 2024. The time period for filing the inventory is six months from the date of issuance of the Letters of Administration which has expired sometimes in June, 2025. The time to file the accounts is one year and is yet to expire. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, although the grounds stated for the delay in filing the inventory are not very convincing yet for the ends of justice, the time is extended till 19th September, 2025. The department shall accept the inventory if the same is in proper form and order and placed before it within the extended period of time.

Since the time to file the accounts has not yet expired, the petitioner will be at liberty to file the same along with the inventory or immediately thereafter but prior to expiry of the time available for filing of the same.

The department shall accept the accounts provided it is in proper form and order.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this application. The application is, accordingly, disposed of. (ARINDAM MUKHERJEE, J.) Sb/
