...for the respondent nos. 6, 7, 8, 9 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 The Court : Petitioner has prayed before this Court for taking necessary steps in terms of the FIR relating to Nadial P.S. Case No.201 of 2024. Earlier KMC has already submitted a report. Although there was submission that the KMC officers were assaulted but none of the reports submitted by the KMC reflect the same and the report of the KMC reflects that only there was a gathering and an agitation. I have perused the case diary produced by the learned advocate appearing for the State and the steps taken.

Prima facie materials have been collected by the investigating agency so far as the merit of the investigation is concerned.

The prayers presently advanced by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner is relating to protection. As the petitioner and her family members happen to be witnesses in the case already registered by Nadial police station, I direct that in case any application is advanced before the learned Magistrate in seisin of the aforesaid case for necessary protection, learned Magistrate by adhering to the provision of Witness Protection Scheme, 2018, would call for a threat perception report from the concerned police station and thereafter pass necessary direction thereby securing the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members.

So far as the other prayers are concerned relating to the bail granted to the accused persons, petitioner would be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law before the Court having jurisdiction. With the aforesaid observation, WPO/1236/2024 is disposed of. Connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Case diary submitted on behalf of the State be returned to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State.
