...for the respondent The Court: Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition. There is no reason assigned for such prayer. The prayer is all the more strange since the matter has been heard on several occasions since October, 2023 and counsel were also requested at some point to prepare their respective Notes. Counsel also requested that the matter be treated as "Part-heard" on the last occasion, which was on 21st December, 2023.

However, since the carriage of proceedings is with the petitioner, the prayer for withdrawal is allowed.

AP/718/2023 is dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner shall pay costs of Rs.20,000/- to the Calcutta Blind School within 7 days from date. (MOUSHUMI BHATTACHARYA, J.) bp.
