Writ petitioners complain that the representation filed by the petitioners before the Kolkata Municipal Corporation with request to initiate proceeding against M/s. ICS Chemical Industries, respondent no. 6 herein has not been taken up for consideration. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that after filing of the writ petition it has come to the knowledge of the petitioners that the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has taken a decision to initiate proceeding against respondent no. 6. The same is reflected in the website of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. It appears from the document placed before this Court that the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has already taken a decision to initiate proceeding against the agency in question.

Accordingly, the concerned authority of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is directed to conclude the said proceeding strictly in accordance with law at the earliest. The fate of the proceeding shall be communicated to the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
