The Court:-The Kolkata Municipal Corporation records two separate dates of birth of the petitioner. One is 15.04.1990 and the other is 15.08.1990. According to the petitioner, her correct date of birth is 15.04.1990. An application has been filed before the Corporation for correction of the date of birth and the same is pending consideration. The Chief Municipal Health Officer is directed to consider the prayer made by the petitioner for rectification of her date of birth upon hearing the petitioner. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest. Reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 13th September, 2023 along with supporting documents to the Chief Municipal Health Officer at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

Leave granted to the learned Advocate-on-record of the petitioner to implead the Chief Municipal Health Officer as party respondent in the instant writ petition. The formality of serving a copy of the writ petition upon the added respondent stands dispensed with as the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is being represented by the learned advocate.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
