The petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by the action of the respondent authority concerned withholding pending release of the consignment under bills of entry nos. 6207232 dated 11.11.2021 and 6393662 dated 24.11.2021. In support of his contention for release of the goods in question, the petitioner has relied upon the department's own letter dated 22nd June, 2022 being annexure 'P-5' at page 76 of the writ petition. Considering the submissions of the parties and particularly taking into consideration the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022 issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Appraising addressed to the petitioner, this writ petition being WPO 2622 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to release the consignment in question

subject to compliance of the terms and conditions of the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022 within three days from the date of compliance of the terms and conditions of the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022. With this observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
