Mr. K. K. Maiti, Ms. Manasi Mukherjee, Advocates for the respondents. The Court : Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. The petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by the action of the respondent authority concerned withholding release of the consignment under bills of entry nos. 6182856 dated 09.11.2021 and 6458814 dated 29.11.2021. In support of his contention for release of the goods in question, the petitioner has relied upon the department's own letter dated 22nd June, 2022 being annexure 'P-5' at page 81 of the writ petition. Considering the submissions of the parties and particularly taking into consideration the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022 issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Appraising, addressed to the petitioner, this writ petition being WPO 2623 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to release the consignment in question subject to compliance of the terms and conditions mentioned the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022 within three days from the date of

compliance of the terms and conditions of the aforesaid letter dated 22nd June, 2022.

With this observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
