The Court:-An inspection was conducted at the site on 17.10.2023 and a demolition sketch plan has been prepared with the infringement statement. The department is contemplating initiating proceedings under suitable sub-Section of Section 400 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980. Let a copy of the demolition sketch plan and the infringement statement be served upon the necessary parties.

The Executive Engineer is directed to take immediate steps to deal with the unauthorized construction. The proceedings to deal with the unauthorized construction shall be concluding at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of.
