The Court: This matter has been called on three previous occasions, i.e. on 8/6/2021, 9/6/2021 and 10/6/2021. However, none has appeared on behalf of either of the parties in this matter. Upon perusal of the records it appears that apart from presentation of plaint on 22nd November, 2011 an order was passed on 20th March, 2012 with regard to amendment of the plaint. But no further steps have been taken in the suit by either of the parties. In light of the same it appears that the plaintiff is not interested in pursuing his claim. Today also when the matter was called on, none appeared on behalf of either of the parties. Accordingly, the suit is dismissed for default.

In light of the same, the matter is treated as disposed of. The Department is directed to strike off the suit and the connected applications from the ledger forthwith.
