The Court : This is an application for extension of time to file the inventory pursuant to a probate being granted on 29th July, 2024 and issued on 8th January, 2025 to the petitioner being the executor.

The six months period for filing the inventory has expired on 7th July, 2025. The petitioner being the executor is seeking extension of time to file the inventory.

The time to file the inventory is extended till 24th December, 2025. In the event the applicant files the inventory within the extended period of time, the department shall accept the same subject to the inventory being in proper form and order.

The petitioner will be also at liberty to file the accounts if the same is ready though the time for filing such accounts has not yet expired but will expire on 7th January, 2026.

The beneficiary under the Will on having received the Master's Summons of the instant application is appearing through Mr. Anirban Banerjee, learned Advocate. Mr. Anirban Banerjee, learned Advocate, is given liberty to file Vakalatnama in the department by 22nd December, 2025. Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this application.
