...for the respondents The Court: This is the third application for extension of the learned Arbitrator's mandate under Section 29-A(4) of the 1996 Act. By the second and last extension, the mandate was extended for a period of four months from 13th July, 2023. The order records that the extension is granted for the last and final time. The four months expired on 13th November, 2023. The present application was filed three days after the mandate expired on 16th November, 2023 asking for further extension of three months. The Court is informed that arguments were completed on 1st September, 2023.

Considering the fact that three applications for extension have already been made and arguments were completed on 1st September, 2023, AP/805/2023 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by extending the mandate till 5th January, 2024.
