By the said order the alleged contemnor was directed to make payment of Rs.8 lakh by 31st October, 2023.

It appears from the records that despite there being delay of the alleged contemnor in making payment, the alleged contemnor ultimately made payment long beyond the above date. In view of the fact that the contemnor has made payment of the entirety of the sum of Rs.8 lakh, there is no question of exercising any discretion by way of contempt jurisdiction.

In view of the above, CC No.119 of 2023 stands dismissed. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J. ) pkd/nm.
