...for the respondent The Court: This is an application for substitution of the Arbitrator who was appointed by the Court on 21st June, 2023. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that learned Arbitrator has subsequently been appointed as Chairman of the National Green Tribunal.

Having regard to the circumstances as stated above, AP/829/2023 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by appointing Mr. Badar Durrez Ahmed, former Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court as the Arbitrator in place and stead of the earlier Arbitrator subject to the learned Arbitrator

communicating his consent in the prescribed form to the Registrar, Original Side of this Court within three weeks from date. The Advocate-on-Record of the petitioner will communicate this order on the Arbitrator by 11th December, 2023 along with the relevant details of the contact person.

The parties are given leave, as prayed for, to comply with any directions which may have been passed by the erstwhile Arbitrator. The petitioner will further be at liberty to collect all the records and order from the erstwhile Arbitrator.
