..for the respondent The Court:- This is a second application for extension of the learned Arbitrator's mandate under Section 29-A(4) of the 1996 Act. By an earlier order dated 28th July, 2023, the mandate had been extended for four months and ended on 28th November, 2023. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the claimant's evidence is still continuing and that the claimant has one more witness.

Considering the fact that this is the second application for extension and sufficient time has already been given to the parties, the claimant will conclude its evidence by 31st December, 2023. The respondent will also complete its evidence expeditiously thereafter so that the learned Arbitrator has sufficient time to make the Award.
