...for the respondent The Court: This is an application for extension of the Arbitrator's mandate under Section 29-A(4) of the 1996 Act. This is a second extension. The first extension was granted by a co-ordinate Bench on 17th May, 2023 whereby the mandate was extended till 31st December, 2023. Learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that the parties are now at the stage of arguments.

Considering the submissions made together with the fact that the arbitration started in 2019, AP/850/2023 is allowed and disposed of by extending the mandate for three months from 31st December, 2023. The affidavit of service is kept on record.
