The Court :- As submitted on behalf of the parties, the issues involved in this writ petition is whether the Kolkata Municipal Corporation authority can levy and collect both permission and licence fees for advertisement being displayed for public view on public street and places.

Counsel appearing for the parties submit that this issue has already conclusively been decided by a Division Bench of this Court in the matter of Kolkata Municipal Corporation & Others -VersusVodafone Idea Limited & Another delivered in APO No.351 of 2017

arising out of WP No.717 of 2009 and accordingly they submitted that this writ petition would also be governed by the said Division Bench judgement.

In view of the above, this writ petition WPO No.1216 of 2009 with all connected applications stands disposed of in the light of the said Division Bench judgement.
