For respondents The Court:- It is submitted by the parties that an out of Court settlement has been arrived at between them. The defendants have retracted from the comments which were alleged as defamatory by the plaintiff for which the suit was filed. The plaintiff has accepted the retraction. A joint affidavit filed by the defendants in Court today is taken on record. The defendant nos. 1,2 and 3 are personally present in Court.

Since the plaintiff, in view of the settlement, does not also intend to proceed with the suit, the suit is treated as on the day's list by consent of parties

and is disposed of by recording settlement between the plaintiff and the defendants. All connected applications, if any, also stand disposed of. (ARINDAM MUKHERJEE, J.) Sb/
