O-32 ORDER SHEET

IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

Ordinary Original Civil Jurisdiction ORIGINAL SIDE IA NO. GA/2/2022 IN PLA/264/2015

IN THE GOODS OF

DHRUBO PAL (DEC.)

BEFORE:

The Hon'ble JUSTICE KRISHNA RAO Date: 18th NOVEMBER, 2022.

Appearance:

Mr. Somnath Gangopadhyay, Adv.

..for the petitioner The Court: Counsel for the petitoner has filed the instant application praying for extension of time to file inventory and accounts in terms of the order passed by this Court at the time of grant of Letters of Administration dated 18th March, 2016. Counsel for the petitoner submits that in terms of the direction contained in the Letters of Administration, the petitioner has taken appropriate necessary steps for discharge of the duties as Administrator to the Estate of the deceased but inventory and accounts in terms of the grant could not be filed within the time prescribed in the order as the petitioner was residing out of Kolkata and was not in a position to frequently come to Kolkata.

Counsel for the petitoner submits that the inventory and accounts in respect of the estate of the deceased is prepared and ready and the same will be filed within a week from date. Considering the submission made by the Counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the application and the documents, I find that sufficient cause has been shown for non-filing the inventory and accounts in terms of the order dated 18th March, 2016.

Prayers in terms of (a), (b), (c) and (d) of the Master's Summons are allowed.

GA No. 2 of 2022 is disposed of.
