Counsel for the petitioner has filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration of the properties and credits of the deceased, namely, Aurobinda Chatterjee.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased died on 25th May, 2021 leaving behind the petitioner being his wife as the sole legal heir. Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no issue out of the wedlock between the petitioner and the deceased.

Considering the submission made by the Counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds that the deceased died leaving behind his wife and there is no other legal heirs. The testator died on 25th May, 2021. After the death of the husband, the petitioner has filed the present application.

Considering the above, this Court finds that the petitioner is entitled to get the Letters of Administration to the estate of the deceased subject to furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- with one surety. PLA/636/2022 is disposed of.
