The Court: In terms of the order dated 22nd July, 2021, the Assessor - Collector of the Assessment-Collection (South) Department of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (in short "KMC") has filed an affidavit. The said affidavit is taken on record. The petitioners remain unrepresented, even today. After considering the affidavit, I find that the order dated 31st August, 2000 has been complied with. The contempt proceedings are dropped.

The contempt petition is disposed of without any further order by recording the compliance.

Rule, if any, stands discharged.
