The petitioner's application for supply of electricity has been rejected on the ground that the identity proof submitted by her contains an address at variance with the present residence on an occupied land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that because she has shifted her residence to the occupied land in another village, a varianc e has occurred. He submits that she would be approaching the authority by making application afresh, submitting identity proof as contemplated under clause 5.30 of the Supply Code, 2018 for availing the electric supply connection.

With liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities, as prayed, the writ petition stands disposed of. (Madhuresh Prasad, J. )
