Respondents Mrs. Anjili Nag, Advocate ... for the petitioners Mr. Arul Prasanth, Advocate ... for the respondents December 13, 2021 [GNC] Item No. 24 The writ petition is directed against an Award passed by the Arbitrator dated February 15, 2020 exercising powers under the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation, 1973.

Heard the learned advocate appearing for the parties. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation, 1973 allows an appeal to be preferred against the impugned Award of the Arbitrator.

The Court is informed that the borrowers have already preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority under the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation, 1973 and that in such appeal, the writ petitioners, as respondents appeared.

Since the impugned Award is appealable under the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation,

1973, I refrain from exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

All points raised by the parties are kept open. WPA/101/2020 is disposed of accordingly.
