Partha Sarthi ... for the petitioner Mr. Satish Mishra ... for the respondents January 08, 2026 [AKB] Item No.4 Present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 25th July, 2025 for providing electricity in the dwelling house of the petitioner standing on survey No. 393/P area 200 Sq. mtrs. situated at Bathubasti village, Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil, South Andaman.

Mr. S.C.Mishra, learned counsel appearing for the official respondents submits that the application dated 25th July, 2025 has already been rejected on 30th July, 2025 with the remark to submit Ration Card or Election Card having same address as proof of occupancy of premises as per JERC (Electricity Supply Code) Regulation, 2018 clause 5.30 along with Aadhar Card. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to move a fresh application along with requisite documents as mentioned in the rejection order.

Liberty is granted to move a fresh application along with requisite documents as per the law and procedure.

The opposite party shall consider the same in accordance with the law and dispose of expeditiously.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
