Mishra ... for the Opposite party January 28, 2026 [SR] Item No.4 This writ petition has been filed for a direction on the respondent authorities to provide fresh electricity connection to the petitioner's premises.

Learned advocate for the respondents says that the petitioner's application was rejected by the competent authority since neither the ration card nor the voters identity card was submitted with the application.

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that he has annexed a copy of the ration card at page 27 of the writ petition. The petitioner will be at liberty to make a fresh application for electricity connection accompanied by ration card and/or voters identity card. If such an application is made and all formalities are complied with, the respondents shall provide electricity connection to the petitioner's premises within a month from the date of receipt of the application. WPA/19/2026 is disposed of.
