After considering the representation made by the petitioners/ staff of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 11th May, 2023 and the vacancy notice issued by the Department of Education on 10th May, 2023, we consider it fit to permit the petitioners to make a fresh representation to the Competent Authority for regularization of the post in Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan where the petitioners have been engaged for the last 17 years or pray for framing of a scheme for job protection for the petitioners. The direction is passed on the finding that a reference was made to the vacancy notice in the representation dated 11th May, 2023.

The Competent Authority shall dispose of the representation, if made, by the petitioners, within a period of three weeks from the date on which the representation is sent by the petitioners to the Competent Authority. The issue of jurisdiction of the Tribunal to entertain the petitioners' grievance is left open.

MAT/5/2024 is disposed of in terms of the above. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
