Mini ... for the petitioner Mr.V.D.Sivabalan Mr. Arun S.Kumar ... for the respondents February 05, 2026 [AKB] Item No.13 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the representation of the writ petitioner dated 24.09.2025 is pending before the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Sri Vijaya Puram and the said representation is required to be disposed of by the said Deputy Commissioner, but till date the same was not done.

The learned counsel appearing for the Administration Mr. V.D.Sivabalan has submitted that he needs instruction. However, it appears that the said representation of the writ petitioners are pending since 24.09.2025 and the same should have been disposed of within 60 days from receipt after notice. The same has not been done till date. Therefore, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Sri Vijaya Puram is directed to dispose of the representation dated 24.09.2025 filed by the writ petitioner and another after giving an effective hearing to the writ petitioner or her learned counsel in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

As the affidavits have not have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

The learned counsel for the petitioner is given liberty to communicate this order to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Sri Vijaya Puram. With the direction the WPA/44/2026 is, thus, disposed of.
