The petitioner claimed permission from the respondent to commence functioning his saw mill by a representation dated 10.08.2022. The same was rejected by an order dated 06.04.2023 passed by the Divisional Forest Officer, Digilipur Division relying upon the order passed by the Apex Court in IA No.502 of 1999 in WP(C) No.202/1995 on 07.05.2002. 2.

Since the rejection is relying upon an order passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court, and being faced with difficulty, learned counsel submits that he would agitate his claim in terms of the Wood Based Guidelines of 2016 before the appropriate forum. 3.

The writ petition thus stands disposed of.
