Kumar ... for the respondent Nos. 1-2 Mr. Rakesh Kumar ... for the respondent No.3 February 05, 2026 [AKB] Item No.15 The learned counsel Ms. A.S.Zinu who is appearing personally has submitted in her usual fairness that one representation filed by her on 18.11.2024 addressed to the Director, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs is pending for more than one year. She has further submitted that this writ petition can be disposed of after giving a direction upon the respondent No. 1 to dispose of the said representation dated 18.11.2024 as expeditiously as the officer can.

The learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and respondent No. 3 are present and they have submitted they have no instruction in this regard.

However, it appears that the matter is pending since 18.11.2024 before the Director, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, that is, for more than one year. The prayers made in the said representation appears to be innocuous.

However, the respondent No. 1 is directed to dispose of the said representation after providing an opportunity of hearing to the

petitioner and to dispose of the same in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner is given liberty to communicate this order to the office of the Director, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs for information and necessary compliance.

With the above direction WPA/52/2026 is, thus, disposed of.
