By presenting this writ petition, prayer is made for determination of premium which is required to be paid by the petitioner in support of granting licence in respect of a land under plot No.33/12 measuring 300 Sq.mtrs situates at Prothrapur, Port Blair.

It is also submitted by learned advocate representing the petitioner that on determination of premium, consequential steps are required to be taken by the authority. 3.

It is further submitted that an application has been made on 25th March, 2011 before the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, being respondent no.2, seeking determination of premium and the same is kept pending.

Administration is represented by learned advocate. 5.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking note of the licence granted by the authority with effect from 2nd August, 1989 which is at page 16 of the writ petition, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman , being respondent no.2, to take decision on the representation of the writ

petitioner dated 25th March, 2011 by eight weeks from the date of communication of this order after granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or her representative. 6.

Respondent no.2 is required to pass a reasoned order and same to be communicated to the petitioner by ten days thereafter.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocate appearing for the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
