Mr. Thakur learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in limbo of jail incarcerated since 27th May, 2020 who has been arraigned in connection with this case for the charge of attempt to commit murder of his own wife.

I have heard Mr. M.K. Thakur, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Sumit Karmakar, learned advocate for the State who has placed the case diary including the injury report. Having regard the nature of the injury inflicted on the parietal region of the head of the victim lady and having regard to the fact that the charge has already been framed by the Trial Court, the prayer for bail at this stage is refused.

As per the earlier order of coordinate bench of this Court the Trial Court will conclude trial within the time period stipulated therein.

Thus, the application being CRM/4/2021 is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. (Shivakant Prasad, J.)
