Mr. KMB Jayapal ... for the petitioner Mr. V.D.Sivabalan ... for the respondents June 29, 2022 [SR] Item No.24 The petitioner assails the notice dated 5 August, 2021 issued under Section 202(1) of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Land Revenue and Land Reforms Regulation, 1966. On behalf of the respondent it is submitted that proceedings have not yet been concluded and the petitioner has prematurely approached this Court.
Mr. Jayapal appears on behalf of the petitioner and submits that he has no objection if the proceedings are concluded in accordance with law and his client shall take all points which are available to him in law before the Tehsildar.
In view of the aforesaid, no purpose would be served in keeping this application pending.
Accordingly, WPA/105/2022 stands disposed of.
The Tehsildar is directed to act in accordance with law.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the dispute between the parties and the Tehsildar is not to be influenced by any observation of finding in this order on the merits of the disputes between the parties. ( Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
