Arul Peter) Mr. Tulsi Lall Mr. Rakesh Kumar ...for the Respondents February 02, 2024 (M.A.Mobin) Item No.8 The Writ Petitioner claims to be in occupation of a Government Revenue Land bearing Survey No.1/P measuring an area of about 200 Sq. Mtrs. at Birsa Nagar, Attampahar under Port Blair Tehsil in South Andaman District and is residing there along with her family by constructing a dwelling house thereupon.

The petitioner applied for supply of electricity on 08th September, 2023 but supply of electricity has not yet been effected to the petitioner.

After hearing the learned Advocates for the parties WPA 101 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the Assistant Engineer, Electricity Department, Sub-Division-II, South Andaman being the 2nd Respondent to consider the application for supply of electricity submitted by the petitioner on 08th September, 2023 and to effect supply of

electricity to the petitioner upon compliance of necessary formalities as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order.

It is however made clear that supply of electricity shall not create any equity in favour of the petitioner. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
