Mr. Ananda Halder, learned advocate appears for the petitioner. Mr. Shatadru Chakraborty, learned senior advocate appears for the Administration of the Islands. 2.

Drawing attention to the representation dated December 30, 2024 Annexure P-2 at Page -17 to the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks to withdraw a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- from his own G.P.F account. The representation, though submitted long back, has not yet been disposed of neither the petitioner has been allowed to withdraw the necessary amount from his G.P.F account. 3.

In view of the above, the petitioner shall visit the office of the respondent no.2 day after tomorrow, i.e, February 26, 2025 between 12.00 Noon to 3.00 pm when the respondent no.2 either by himself or through delegated responsible officer of his office shall assist the petitioner in every respect including to provide the necessary statutory form so that he can fill it up and submit it in their presence.

Upon compliance of all the formalities and submission of the said statutory form and if there is no statutory form is required to be submitted, then on the basis of the said representation of the petitioner dated December 30, 2024 Annexure P-2 at page 17 to the writ petition, the amount shall be released as claimed by the petitioner from his G.P.F account. In the event, the total account is not available in his G.P.F. account then, the maximum available amount shall be released in favour of the petitioner upon compliance of all formalities. 5.

Entire exercise shall be carried out and completed including the release of the sum in favour of the petitioner positively within a period of one week from the date of submission of the statutory forms, if any, or within a week from February 26, 2025, as the case may be.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

On the above terms, this writ petition WPA/89/2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs. ( Aniruddha Roy, J. )
