Mtrs. situated at Prothrapur Village under Port Blair Tehsil in South Andaman District and is residing there along with her family by constructing a dwelling house.

The petitioner submitted an application before the Electricity Department, A & N Administration praying for new service connection for supply of electricity. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Respondent Authorities have not yet taken any decision on the said application which has been filed on 11th December, 2023. In view thereof WPA 106 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the Assistant Engineer, Sub-Division-II, Electricity Department, Port Blair, South Andaman being the 2nd Respondent to consider the application dated 11th

December, 2023 submitted by the petitioner and to effect supply of electricity to the petitioner upon compliance of all formalities in this regard as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order.
