The petitioner is residing on the said plot of land after constructing a dwelling house thereupon. The petitioner applied before the Electricity Department, Andaman & Nicobar Administration on 20th December, 2023 for supply of electricity. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date the Respondent/Administration has not taken any step to effect supply of electricity to the petitioner.

WPA 123 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the Assistant Engineer, Sub Division-III, Electricity Department, Port Blair, South Andaman District being the

3rd Respondent to consider the application dated 20th December, 2023 submitted by the petitioner and to effect supply of electricity to the petitioner upon compliance of all formalities in this regard as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the server copy of this order.
