The State Mr. Rakesh Pal Gobind Ms. Varsha Ghosh Mr. Shrawan Mehra ... for the petitioner Mr. A.S.Zinu ... for the State February 9, 2024 [SR] Item No.1 The undisputed case is that no recovery of narcotic substance was made from the petitioner. We are also informed that the co-accused was released on bail on 7th February, 2024. The name of the petitioner also transpired from the statement made by the co-accused.

It is more relevant to state that the quantity recovered from the co-accused as to intermediate quantity. Hence, we are of the opinion that the petitioner is entitled to bail.

CRM(NDPS)/4/2024 is accordingly allowed and disposed of.

The petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each, one of who shall be local and to the satisfaction of the Ld. Special Court under the NDPS Act, South Andaman, Port Blair. The petitioner shall not influence witnesses or tamper with evidence and also make himself

available to the Investigating Officer as and when the petitioner is required to do so.
