Sabir, learned Advocate representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner supplied certain sports items to the sole respondent following a supply order.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that he raised a bill of Rs.22,32,000/- against such supply on June 5, 2019, but he was not paid any amount.

Mrs. Anjili Nag, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent-administration denies the allegations of the Writ petitioner and submits that the claim of the petitioner is time barred.

I do not see any justification to keep this writ Petition pending.

Accordingly, this writ Petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent to pass a reasoned order following the demand notice dated December 1, 2021

(Annexure P-1 at Page 11) in accordance with law within a period of two months from date and communicate the same to the petitioner within one week thereafter. If necessary the respondent shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

WPA 136 of 2022 accordingly, is disposed of.
