The petitioner claims electricity supply as an encroacher of a particular piece of land. The petitioner submits application Annexure P-2 at page 16 to the writ petition. 3.

In the event, the said application has not yet been decided, the Electricity Department through its appropriate authority shall decide the same positively within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. 4.

In the event, it is decided in favour of the petitioner, then the necessary connection shall be provided to the petitioner within 72 working hours from the date of communication of this order, upon compliance of all formalities and necessary payment of charges being made by the petitioner, in accordance with law.

In the event of rejection of the application, the reasoned decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from date of communication of this order.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition WPA/123/2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
