for the respondents December 14, 2022 [SR] Item No.42 The petitioner is aggrieved by a demand made under a loan agreement with the Andaman and Nicobar State Cooperative Bank (the said Bank). The petitioner received loans and advances from the said Bank and claims to have repaid sums equivalent to the principal amount. The bank claims that a sum of about Rs.40.00 lakhs is still payable by the petitioner.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the petitioner and the bank is purely a private and civil in nature and has no public element. The remedy for the petitioner is inter alia before the Civil Court. With the aforesaid observation, WPA/156/2022 stands disposed of, without any orders.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
