Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent / Tehsildar, Ferrargunj Tehsil in considering and disposing her application for review filed on 9th October, 2019. It also appears from record that petitioner has sent a legal notice through her learned Advocate on 28th October, 2022 for disposal of her review application filed on 9th October, 2019. This Court does not appreciate such lethargic conduct of a Government authority of sitting over the application of a citizen even after service of legal notice and the said authority did not get the time to consider and dispose of the aforesaid review application of the petitioner.

Learned Advocate representing the respondent could not defend such conduct of the respondent and furnish any explanation before this Court for such unreasonable delay on the part of the respondent in disposing the aforesaid review application of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA/140/2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent Tehsildar to consider and dispose of the aforesaid review application of the petitioner dated 9th October, 2019, in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or her authorized representative, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order and to

communicate his order to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of passing of such order.
