By the order dated December 19, 2019 the writ petition was dismissed after finding that there is no material irregularity in the order passed by the Industrial Tribunal warranting interference.

Learned advocate appearing for the applicant submits that despite the Court considering the merits of the matter and not interfering with the Labour Court's order, authorities are not acting in terms of the Labour Court's order.

The applicant is at liberty to implement the order passed by the Labour Court in accordance with

law. The contempt jurisdiction of the High Court need not be invoked at this stage.

Accordingly, the contempt application being CPAN 15 of 2021 is disposed of.
