Mishra ... for the respondents June 11, 2025 [SR] Item No.22 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for providing electricity to his house situated at government revenue land bearing survey No.53/5/1 area 80 sq.mtrs in Fisheries Colony, Dairy Farm, Port Blair, South Andaman District. Although the application was made on 22.01.2025, the same has not been considered by the respondent authorities as yet. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities submits that the petitioner's application is pending consideration and the same would be decided in accordance with law at the earliest.

In view of the above, let the respondent authority consider the petitioner's above referred representation seeking electricity connection in accordance with law and at the earliest, preferably within four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is clarified that merits of the case have not been gone into by this Court.

As the writ petition has been disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations leveled against the respondents shall be deemed to have been denied.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be supplied to the learned counsels for the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
