Kumar ... for the respondent Nos. 2 & 3 March 12, 2024 [AKB] Item No.11 The petitioner submits that he is working as a Daily Rated Mazdoor at the Municipal Council, Port Blair. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his name and his father's name have been wrongly recorded on the Employees Provident Fund portal of the Provident Fund Commissioner, Port Blair. The petitioner submits that for the correction of his name and his father's name against A/c No. WB/PB/46008/524, the Office of the Municipal Council, Port Blair has already issued a certificate indicating the correct names.

Respondent no. 1 is not represented despite service. In view of the aforesaid facts, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent No. 1 to consider the application for correction filed by the petitioner as appearing at page 23 of the writ petition and pass necessary orders within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.
