The Superintending Engineer and Another Mr. Pardeshia Munda .... for the petitioner Mr. Tulsi Lall ... for the respondents March 14, 2024 [SR] Item No. 14 Heard Shri Pardeshia Munda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Tulsi Lall, learned counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's online application No.18877 dated 28.11.2023 for new electric connection is pending before the respondent no.3, which may be directed to be decided at an early date.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that the application of the petitioner, if still pending, shall be considered by the respondent no.3, in accordance with law and an appropriate decision shall be taken within a time bound period. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and as aforesaid noted, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to take a decision in accordance with law on the online application no.18877 dated 28.11.2023, within six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner. It is further made clear that in the event an order adverse to the petitioner has already been passed by the respondent no.3 on the aforesaid application of the petitioner, then, in that event, the respondent no. 3 shall communicate the order to the petitioner within two weeks from today.
