Mr. Lokesh Chezian, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the private respondent nos. 3 and 4 illegally encroached upon the petitioner's land and started raising illegal construction. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent no.2 on 13th February, 2025 and considering the same, a stay order was passed by the said respondent no.2 on 14th February, 2025 in a revenue case being RC/134/TVSP/2025. However, the said respondent has not yet disposed of the said revenue case. Ms. Babita Das, learned advocate enters appearance on behalf of the respondent nos.1&2.

Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and considering the materials on record, I am of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending and the issue needs to be relegated to the competent authority.

In view thereof, this Court directs the respondent no.2 to take appropriate steps towards disposal of the revenue case

being RC/134/TVSP/2025, upon granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the private respondents and all other interested persons and to communicate the final decision to the petitioner and the private respondents.

The above exercise shall be completed by the respondent no.2 within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the parties as expeditiously as possible, upon compliance of all formalities.
