Vijay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri V.D. Sivabalan, learned counsel for the respondents. The only relief as pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner before this court is that the First appeal No 15 of 2012 filed before the respondent No. 2 on 20.02.2012, may be directed to be decided at an early date.

I find that copy of the order sheet has not been filed. Therefore, no positive order can be passed.

However, with the consent of the learned counsel's for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 that in the event any such appeal filed by the petitioner herein in the year 2012 under section 28 (1) (a) of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Land Revenue and Land Reforms Regulations 1966 against an order of the Tehsildar dated 28.06.2010, is pending and there is no legal impediment in deciding it, then, it may be decided in accordance with law, expeditiously, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.

It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on merits of case of the petitioner or on maintainability of his appeal, if any.

With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of. ( Surya Prakash Kesarwani, J. )
