The Writ application was filed with a substantive prayer for a direction upon the authority to dispose of the matter within specified time.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that one application was submitted before the office of the Tehsildar, Rangat Tehsil/Respondent No.3 herein on 11th March, 2024 with a prayer for demarcation of the land already recorded in the name of the petitioner.

It is also submitted that notice was duly issued to the petitioner, but the matter was not disposed of by any reasoned order till date.

Notices and the applications referred to above have been annexed with the Writ application.

Heard both sides.

Given facts and circumstances, the Tehsildar, Rangat Tehsil, North & Middle Andaman District is directed to dispose of the case being RC No.192/TR/2023 corresponding to an application dated 11th March, 2023 within six weeks from date.

Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
