The grievance ventilated in the present writ petition is limited.

A partition suit was filed among the petitioner and the other co-sharers of the subject property. Such partition suit reached its culmination in a final decree.

The partition commissioner's report, which was authored by the Tehsildar, was made a part of the decree and is annexed at page 39 of the writ petition.

However, despite the writ petitioner having applied on June 17, 2025 to the Tehsildar to correct the Records of Rights and Khatuni Book in terms of the said partition commissioner's report, no action has allegedly been taken thereon. 5.

Upon hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, WPA/150/2025 is disposed of by directing the respondents, being the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Sri Vijaya Puram and the Tehsildar, Sri Vijaya Puram respectively, to effect necessary corrections in the Khatuni Book and the Records of Rights in respect of the subject land in terms of the

partition commissioner's report annexed at page 39 of the present writ petition in terms of the partition decree within a period of four weeks from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
